Sparling - Kenneth (Ike)

Sparling, Kenneth (Ike) peacefully with his wife Pat by his side at The St. Catharine’s General Hospital on April 5th, 2008. He will be deeply missed by his daughters Mary Pat (Brian) McBride and Terri (Steve) Mauthe. Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Stephanie and Michael Mauthe and Micaela McBride. He also leaves behind his brother in law Bill (Diana) Morris,his niece Pat Brown and nephew Bill Morris Jr. of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Ike retired in 1989 after 31 years of service with the Niagara Regional Police Force. He was well known in the sports community as an athlete, coach and mentor.

BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES (1105 Benner Ave, Fort Erie) entrusted with arrangements. Visitation will take place on Monday from 7-9pm and on Tuesday from 2-4pm and from 6-9pm. Vigil Prayers at the Funeral Home on Tuesday at 7:30pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday at 11am from St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Church. Private family Right of Committal to take place at a later date.
